My lovely client Kristina made the most delicious dips at a past B-Fit Christmas party and they were delicious, healthy and super easy and quick to make too!!!
She let me in on her secret recipes so I thought I’d share them with you as they’d make the perfect nutritious snack during the festive season.
SWEET CURRY DIP
Ingredients:
• 80g sunflower seeds
• 100ml organic olive oil
• 1 ½ teaspoons of apple vinegar
• 4 tsp mild curry powder
• 1 tsp turmeric
• 2 organic apples, peeled and cut into chunks
• Sea salt
Instructions:
• Mix all ingredients in a blender until a puree
• If you prefer a thicker spread, add more sunflower seeds
• Season to taste with sea salt
SPICY OLIVE TAPENADE
Ingredients:
• ½ onion chopped
• ½ red bell pepper chopped
• 2 garlic cloves chopped
• 300g pitted green olives
• 1 tbsp apple vinegar
• ½ tsp paprika
• 50ml organic extra virgin olive oil
• 3 dates chopped
• Pinch of chilli powder
• Sea salt and pepper
Instructions:
• Combine 250g of the olives with the other ingredients, blend until smooth
• Chop the remaining olives, add to the mixture, mixing in well
• Season with salt and pepper to taste
I love serving these dips with crunchy, raw, organic vegetables such as carrots, broccoli florets, sugar snap peas, baby sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, courgette, and peppers.
