Well, our British summer this year has been pretty disappointing to say the least, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a healthy ice lolly and pretend that it’s melting in the sun while you eat it.
And the fact that these icy treats contain lots of nutritional goodness, not only will your sweet tooth be fully satisfied, but it also contains beneficial vitamins and fats that will keep you satiated until your next meal.
Best of all, you won’t have to put in too much effort, so that you can spend more time outdoors — weather permitting, of course.
Ingredients
- 1 large ripe avocado, cut into chunks
- 2 organic kiwis, cut into chunks
- 400ml coconut water
- 1 juiced lime
Instructions
Put all of the ingredients in your blender until you have a smoothie consistency. Then all you have to do is pour the mixture into 8 ice lolly moulds. Fix the lid over the moulds and insert wooden lolly sticks, then freeze until ready.
